When are the lessons?
Each Group Lesson is an hour long once a week over 16 weeks. Session One starts in August and goes through December and Session 2 starts in January and goes through May. Times are currently scheduled for Mondays from 3:30 -4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time and Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. However, times and days may change depending on availability of students on the waiting list for the next session.

What is the price?
Online Group Piano Lessons are $97 a month with a four month commitment. Total cost for four months of hour long weekly lessons is $388. This is a savings of $540 over Private Lessons that are an hour long each week.

How do  Group Piano Lessons online work?
The class begins with a new warm up each week that students learn all together. Students focus on technqiue during this time. Next, students in the beginners session learn a new theory concept all together. Students may be asked to draw new rhythm symbols on the screen or play a screenshare game together to help review the new concept. Then, each student opens their Individual Guided Practice Plan and is placed in a "Breakout Room" on Zoom. This is where they begin their independent work to learn new piano songs. Students work at their own pace to complete their songs and assignments. Their Guided Practice Plan will tell them exactly which song to practice and what to work on. As they follow their Guided Practice Plan, I will pop in and out of each Breakout Room to listen to their songs and check off if they've gotten them correct or give tips for what to work on. At the end of class, students will play a fun and engaging group game together to review concepts or we will all play a duet or song together and practice listening and performing. Students will most likely be in very different areas of the Lesson book and move through it at diffferent paces and this is okay and expected!  It is important that each student learns at their own pace!
